It's been almost a month since the accident.

The cops came and took the body away from you, and buried him. He now sits under ground and out of your lives forever.

Currently, you sit on your bed and try not to imagine all of his blood on your arms.

Its dark out, and you should be sleeping, but you cant. Whenever you close you eyes it seems like seconds later the you bolt up right, screaming.

You stand up and let the cold wind blowing in from the open window bite at your bare legs, as you walk down to the kitchen.

You past his old bedroom, now cleared out and empty. No tears fall, you haven't been able to shed a single tear since that day. no matter how much your eyes burn, your body won't let you feel any relief in crying.

Silently, you walk through the house, and get to the front door. You open the front door and walk out. Your dark hair swirls around your face from the strong wind. You start shivering immeadiantly, but keep walking around the house and to the forest behind.

You can no longer stand being in that house, with all of those memories.

There was a familiar path, a path that you've traveled millions of times before.

~FlashBack~

You were 10-years-old when you first found the small meadow. You were running from home because Andrew had been getting more attention than you. So you walked through the tall ferns and overgrown vines that curled around the tree trunks.

There were animal tracks in the soft mud and curiousity overtook you, so you follow them.

They lead you to a small clearing with flowers and a tiny creek. Laughing, you run through the daises and  dandelions.

You had spent hours in that meadow, and when you returned, you had forgotten why you left.

The meadow was your happy place.

Your breathing started slowing, the closer you got. You could feel yourself becoming calmer and calmer. The wind picked up and your legs became numb to the cold. Your teeth chattered, but you still smiled once you entered the clearing.

But something was different, the hair on the back of your neck and arms were raised and you felt as if someone was watching you.

Looking around, you see nobody. "Hello..?" You call out a little shakily.

Only the wind asnwers you.

There was a dark shadow that was staring back at you. You take a few steps back, cowering in fear. your breaths come in short gasps, you fall to the cold earth. Then the shadow disappears with a swoosh  of the wind.

But that feeling didn't go away.
