You continue to walk, ignoring the driveway.

As you past, you get a glance at the house, it's an old run-down shack. It would have done nothing but caused you more pain and loss of energy.

You conintue forward, not really sure of where it is you are going. A while later, it feels like your body can't continue going any farther, you sit on the side of the dirt road for a moment of rest.

In the distance, you hear sirens. The noise slowly increasing, until they are right behind you. You turn around and watch the cop car pull up next to you.

"Annemarie Howlter?" He asks in a husky voice.

"Yes?" your voice is weak.

"What happened to you?" He says, you already knew you looked like crap. Especially with the dirt that covers every inch of your skin, the leaves and sticks you felt in your hair, and your torn t-shirt.

"I got lost.."

"Get in, I'm taking you to your parents. They're worried sick."

They are? You think to yourself.

You get in with the police officer, sighing into the cushions and trusting this officer wholeheartedly. He pulled away and continue driving. Fear and dread settled into your stomach as you watch the trees pass by.

There was a dark silhouette on the side of the road, you gasp.

"What? What?" The office hits the brakes and you jerk forward.

"There was a little girl! I saw her!" He turns around in his seat and squints as he looks through the backseat window. "There's nothing there..."

You look back and don't see anything. Confused, you turn your head to the side, "I swear I saw something..."

"Honey, you've been through a lot. You might be hallucinating."

"I know what I saw!"

You shake your head and turn around in your seat, eventually he does too. After a while of driving, you travel of a bridge. Wallburg Bridge you read the green sign on the side of the road.

You look ahead, watching the yellow lines of the road being swallowed up by the front of the car. Then there is a small child there, she looks up in fright and you scream. The officer hits the brake, and the car hits the railing. The weak wooden boards giveway, and your car goes over the side.

There is a giant splash that sounded a thousand miles away. Your ears ring, and you then realise its our own sreams. You car starts slowly filling up with water, you gasp as much air as you can, trying to clear your head.

The officer infront of you has his head slumped against the steeringwheel. You grab his shoulder trying to shake him awake. When he doesn't respond, you slide through the ice water to the window. The water is up to your waist now.

"Okay, Ann. Focus!" You scream out loud at yourself.

You watch the water slowly swallow the car until it is fully underwater. Then your shove your entire bodyinto the door. You float up to the top, sucking the last bits of air out of the tiny space left.

One more giant gasp and your air supply runs out. You shove into the door two more times before it gives way and opens. You rush out and swim to the surface. Your head becomes fuzzy, your vision blackends slightly. You kick your feet over and over but you aren't moving.

You look down and see a girl, she has a hold of your foot.

I can't let you leave just yet.

You scream, hearing a random voice in your head. The rest of your air escapes your open lips and you thrash violently. Your eyes close, and you quit feeling. Your body starts to warm and when you open them again you see Andrew.

You go to reach for him, but your foot won't budge, when you look down again you see that it wasn't a girl, but the seat belt that had your foot. But you knew what you saw.

you look back up at your brother and reach for his hand, but he backs up.

"I don't know you!" He screams, and you close your eyes for the last time.
